Exercising to stay in shape

As everyone knows, a big part of staying healthy is staying in shape. But, as most of us also come to realize, staying in shape can take quite a bit of time. Trips to the gym, long runs along the beach, and weight lifting sessions at the fitness club all take quite a bit of time, which is a luxury some of us do not have to spend! So, here are some tips on staying fit if you are a person who lives a very active and busy lifestyle. Remember, you don’t have to have hours a day to spend on fitness to make a difference.



First, remember that any amount of activity you can get in is better than nothing. If you have fifteen minutes in the morning, go jogging. If you have an hour long lunch break at work, stop by the gym. If you have an extra couple of hours in the evening two nights per week, make these the nights that you hit the fitness club. But even if all you have is ten extra minutes per day, a simple pilates routine is better than nothing… and  you will feel a lot better about fifteen minutes of jogging than you will about fifteen extra minutes at Starbucks, believe me!
